OUR TRIPS
(See Below for more information)
Our trips are curated experiences tailored to the needs, desires and capabilities of our participants. Upon enrolling with us, we take our time to get to know the needs of each individual and the group as a whole.
For instance, our trips designed for leadership teams will look and feel different from a trip designed for those recovering from substance use and mental health disorders.
We take into account location, group size, physical health, outdoor awareness/experience and aptitude for adventure. Regardless of those details, all our trips aim to create perspective, challenge and community.
Transformative Experiences
PAST CLIENTS
“A truly unforgettable experience. I thought I was just signing up for a hike, but walked away with a new lease on life. Taylor and the guides were so thoughtful in everything they did and made this one of the best experiences of my life!”

“Each team member brought a unique flavor in the way that they guided our group. Taylor was awesome in facilitating our “pow-wows” each night. Drew was really inspiring and pushed us all to our edge and Francie was so great to talk to one on one.”
Sky 04/14/2018
“The way they incorporated group chats, affirmation and team building exercises was unexpected and unlike anything I have ever done. I don’t even consider myself that “outdoorsy” and cannot wait to get back on the trail with these guys.”
Maria 10/14/2018
“I still can’t believe that I was able to summit a 14er! Never in my life, would I have pictured something like this for myself. But thanks to our amazing guides, I was able to discover a passion for the outdoors that I didn’t know I had. Thank you River Rock!”

OUR PROMISE
Our promise with these excursions is simple; to create space. What we mean by this is to create space for each participant to experience something greater, something bigger, than the problems that are common among people in early recovery; worrying about damaged relationships, lost jobs, problems in their community, money issues, and the list goes on.
Our goal is not to pretend like those problems don’t exist, but to allow the separation from that stimulus to illuminate the reality that those things don’t need to define them, and that there are indeed, so many gifts along the path of recovery. Gifts worth exploring. Stepping away from a traditional treatment setting, and into an environment that naturally communicates peace and order will often times, do the work for us. So our goal as guides, is to simply create space for that miracle to happen.
